Castile Soap is Olive Oil Soap. Nature Maiden Castile Soap is over 69% pure Olive Oil, and that makes a very mild, nourishing bar of soap. Our Olive Oil soap also produces a lot of mild, creamy lather. It is gentle enough for newborns, for those with sensitive skin, and for mature skin. Olive Oil is a wonderful emollient (an agent that softens or soothes the skin). Olive oil also acts as a humectant, and draws moisture from the air to your skin.
